Accompanying event of the XXXIX Ekotopfilm 2012 - an international film festival about sustainable development

On October 16, 2012 results of the 5th year of the Slovak National Environmental Contest NESS 2012 – the main accompanying event of the Ekotopfilm 2012, an international film festival about sustainable development – were ceremonially presented with presence of Slovak Environment Minister Peter Žiga, Minister of Agriculture and Regional Development Ľubomír Jahnátek, vice-chairman of the Bratislava self-administration region Martin Berta, Lord Mayor of the City of Bratislava Milan Ftáčnik, Bratislava Old Town mayor Tatiana Rosova and  other important representatives of political and economic life in Divadlo of Pavol Orzágh Hviezdoslav Theatre in Bratislava.

Co-organizers and partners for this contest were RTVS, publishing house Spoločnosť 7 PLUS and Comsultia - e-business solutions.

More than 70 applications were received for this contest. The professional jury featured Prof. Ing. Juraj Hraško, DrSc., academician of SAV, chairman of the jury, Prof. Ing. arch. Štefan Šlachta, PhD., Ing. Jíři Mikulenka, jury members, chairman of the board of directors and general director of SLOVMAS, a joint stock company, and Mgr. Ivan Václavík, AUTOSHOW.sk web portal owner. They adjudged 13 categories. Penati Golf Resort received an award in the category ENVIROMENTAL CONSTRUCTION of 2012.
