Slovakia’s first ever professional golf tournament of the European Challenge Tour, the D+D REAL SLOVAKIA CHALLENGE TOUR, was held at the Penati Golf Resort on 10-13 July 2014 on the Nicklaus Design Legend Course. The tournament featured 156 golfers from 17 European countries who have played the European and PGA Tours. The exceptional results were hardly boring, with a new Legend Course lowest score (-10) and also a hole-in-one. 

• The first Slovakia Challenge was won by Andrew McArthur, whose -21 set a new record for this season’s Challenge Tour.
• In the first round, Xavier Ruiz Fonhof shot a hole-in-one on the third hole of the Legend Course.
• In the third round, a new lowest score record for the Legend Course was set by Andrew Johnston with 62 strokes (10 under par).
